The mission of the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition is to serve and lead its diverse membership through advocacy, innovation and information sharing to strengthen and expand public transportation in Southern Nevada.

Our History:
The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition was incorporated in June of 2002 as part of the Nevada Department of Transportation’s Public Rural Ride (Pride) program. Silver Rider Transit is the organizational branding of the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition. The Southern Nevada Transit Coalition is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization.

The requirements are current:
- CDL Class A or B
- P endorsement
- Air Brake Certification
- Medical Card
- Copy of 5-year Driving Record
- Background Check Required
In Laughlin, apply in person at 260 E. Laughlin Civic Drive.
In Mesquite, apply in person at 797 Hardy Way.
In Boulder City, apply in person at 710 Wells Road.

Meetings & Agendas
SNTC meeting dates, times, and agendas. Meetings are open to the public and community participation is encouraged. The SNTC board meetings takes place in the RTC’s Administrative Building at 600 S. Grand Central Parkway, (except where noted). Please check with security upon arrival for the room number.

SNTC Safety Measures
During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, SNTC has safety measures to ensure your riding safety. All vehicles are sanitized nightly and ongoing during the day. Vehicles have limited seating to allow for social distancing as recommended.
